The exhibition was shown throughout the library, in 5 sections:
.A ground floor gallery which focused on the story of Jeannette Fashions
.A lower ground floor gallery which focused on Maurice’s family history, Maurice’s life and passions, and his distinctive approach to shop-keeping
.A 30 minute ‘reel’ on an iMac which played 1961 family home movies, a 1961 slideshow of Maurice’s parents’ motor-cycling holiday in the US, and 4 audio recordings of Maurice talking about his life.
.A series of 26 framed prints showing Maurice’s home which visitors viewed as they ascended the circular walkway to the top balcony gallery…giving visitors a sense of walking up through Maurice’s 3-storey home over the shop
.A balcony gallery where the exhibition concluded.
