Behind the Shop Facade: The Life of Maurice Dorfman will be published as a book on March 31st 2022 to partner the exhibition; the front cover and contents page are shown below.

It contains the complete story, the memories and stories of more than 60 contributors to the project, transcripts of audio-recordings that Jim made with Maurice, as well as all of the exhibition images. You can download the Introduction and two chapters (text only) from the book here.

It is available in two different formats:

• A limited edition of 300 signed printed copies, priced at £40 (excl P&P)

• A digital PDF which you can read on your tablet or computer (it looks beautiful…and is environmentally friendly!), and which you can download and print yourself. The PDF is priced at £10 (if provided by e-mail) or £12.50 (excl P&P) if supplied on a ‘memory stick’

You can obtain a copy in either format in one of four ways:

• Purchasing at the exhibition venue on Fridays and Saturdays (when Jim Grover will be in the exhibition venue)

• Filling in a request form in the exhibition venue, and posting it in a box there
